Chapter 5 | March 31, 2666 (Part 2)

Jason was looking up at the great and powerful being of the entire cosmos, he soon found himself inside a grand hallway. Within it, there were gigantic limestone pillars. There were marble floors as well. In the hall, on granite shelves were little boxes filled with things that you could have only wished for when you were on earth. Also inside, there were things that only he knew about you where in there, as well as, you deepest darkest secrets.

Jason did not want to see what was inside of his own “treasure” box. He just wanted to see this great being face to face for the first time in his life. He wanted to learn of many secrets that were kept from him. He wanted to talk to him about why he was here in the first place.

He walked to a giant golden arched gate at the end of the hallway. Above the gate, in golden laced inked letters read, “Here Is Thy Promise to Thee of Everlasting Life.”

Jason pushed the gates open and walked into a great and powerful place of enlightenment and grace. He was in the grandest kingdom of them. He looked around and did not know where to go. He saw waterfalls and fountains. He saw a city made of clouds it was as big as the whole earth.

Jason walked towards a massive sign. He was walking up to the great being. When he got to the man he asked, “Who are you?”

“I am your father. I am God. You might think that I am not real at all, but I am real. I am everyone on the planet you call earth. Everyone makes up a cell in the greatest being of the universe, ME. I must tell you that your life ended too quickly and now you are here to learn something about yourself and something about your grandfather.”

“What Am I supposed to learn while I am up here above the clouds?” Jay asked.

God looked at one of his many sons, Jason, and said, “You must learn about how your grandfather lives forever and how your own son is the key to something that will change this world’s timeline into a better one.”

Jason was a bit confused at what told to him. Jason asked, “How can a man live forever, if I shot him twice?”

“He has blank bodies held in his own secret facility in New York City. You were there at that facility, but you did not know that was the place was where he left his own supply of double-gangers for the use of his dark soul to attach itself to. I know one more thing about him that you do not know and the world does not know. You know me as to be the light that shines on the world, but your grandfather is the evil that shadow’s my light from the people of the world that follow his evil ways. He is the Devil. The living and breathing devil,” God told Jason.

Jason looked away to feel the truth fill his mind and soul, but he still did not understood how his grandfather was still alive. Most secrets are too big for one person to handle. Even for Jason, he could not handle the truth about how his grandfather kept on living. He opened his mind and let it in and he got a grasp on what he was told.

He then turned to God and asked one final thing, “What purpose does my son serve in all of this?”

“He is purity itself. I know he has changed so much he does not seem to have any light in him at all, but what he serves as is the light that will forever change the course of time. At the end of this very year, after something falls onto earth, it will reveal a dark hole. When it appears your son will have to sacrifice himself for the sake of time itself.”

Jason looked and finally understood what he had to do. He walked out into the hallways where all the chests were sitting on the shelves. He walked over to his chest. He lifted the lid and opened it up.

Inside, there was the key to the door that was once laced in the blood of the people that were once killed by his grandfather, James. He took the key out of the chest. He then, walked to that door. He turned the key and opened the door wide open.

Inside the white door, there was no one. One the outside, there was not even any blood on the door. On the ground inside the door, there was not any devastation. Jay walked away from the door. Jason then felt the presence of someone. It was someone that was very familiar to him. He looked behind him and saw himself.

He walked over and asked himself, “What will happen if I help change everything back to the way it was?”

“Nothing will change. The future is already set in stone. The path to the future that you were going to be on was the wrong one. You lose your mind and forever destroy the family bond. You and your brothers are no longer separate, but together. You are not alone in this world. Your son, Jack, is still as pure as light, but it does not look that way. It is hidden beneath the surface. Also, you will gain those “Timely Abilities” that your grandfather told the council you would no longer be able to gain. He does not know that your abilities were given to you at birth. Not at the time that you needed them” Jason’s old self told him.

“One last thing,” Jason began, “How can you and I exist together?”

“We cannot be here at the same time. Besides that door over there is laced with blood for me,” then the other Jason disappeared.

Jason walked away. He looked at the door and for him it was as white as snow. As he walked away, a fine drip of blood ran down the face of the door. He walked all the way back to where God wanted to meet with him after he went to see the door.

He went over to God. He said, “I do not understand why this is all happening to me.”

“Not everyone knows why this happens, but not everyone has the tools to make things right,” God told him before disappearing. Jason walked away from the experience a changed human being, but he did not know who shot him…

…After the shooting…As Jay’s body fell, the gun that was used to shot him was revealed to be in the hands of his very own son. The one part of the timeline that he thought was changed was not.

His son stood up and said, “What kills us makes us bigger, faster, and stronger. Oh, by the way my poor pathetic father, I killed your brother, Jacob. Guess what? It was just good business.”

Jack then, walked down to join the council. He looked up to the place that was once held by his now “dead” great grandfather. He stood up at the great podium and said, “Hello, my fellow brothers. I killed my father and now he is no longer a threat to us. Now, we can conquer the world once again. I have already garnered the help from one of our enemy societies. They have agreed to work with us to conquer the world. Please welcome the Brotherhood to the Omega Council. Now that we have established our newly acquired allies we will move on, July first of this year we shall destroy this new world on every single piece of it,” He then caught his breath and continued, “One final thing, I no longer sees this assembly as a council anymore. I see us as a grand order of fellow men trying to get the same thing. We are now the Omega Order and no longer a council of brothers, but a band of brothers set out to conquer this hell hole of a place. Meeting adjourned and I will see you in three months for the Great War of The World.”

Jason’s son, Jack, walked out of the room.  He did not say a word to the others after his grand speech.  He could feel the great crowd cheering after the speech. They were getting themselves ready for the war.

He walked out of the interlocking catacombs to the elevator. He pushed the button to go up to his newly bequeathed office. He walked to his new desk. He sat down and smiled. He then opened up the old file 0101 Unknown on the computer monitor and terminated all of the double-gangers in the warehouse next to his father’s lab, except for only one.

James in an all new acquired body, at the warehouse, he awoke to see all of his bodies were dead and no longer living in their slumberous state. He looked around and could not find anything that could have told him who done it.

He then took his nice old streamlined car to the Omega Organization. Once there, he stomped his way up to his, now old, office and saw Jackson sitting in his old chair. He walked over and said, “What the in fucking raging hell that is called my mind did you do?”

“Well, you fucking old bastard, I made the playing field a bit more even and started the gears to turn in getting this war in the world started. Something you would not have done, except in three years, but I guess now that the war will begin in the first week of July, of this year. You are no longer allowed to live forever in this world and waste the innocent lives you use so you can live with no regret of what you do to this world. Get out of my damn office and go back down to Destination Hell and get my father’s body. We are going to need it for when he returns,” Jack told his grandfather.

James walked out of the office in a mad rampage and did what he was asked to do. He went and got Jason’s body and took it up to the Omega Labs section of the organization’s building and waited for Jay to return…

…Where we left off…Jason walked around in circles and wished he could return. He went over and asked God, “Can I return?”

“That is the one thing I hoped you were going to ask and you may.”

God took him to the place where souls returned to earth and said, “Do not come back until it is time for you to really die.”

He walked over and fell back down to earth not knowing what was awaiting him… As Jason re-entered his body, the damage that was done form the bullet faded away.

Jason woke up back on earth in the lab where James placed his body. As he started to look around, out of a daze, he saw his son walking over to him and said, “Welcome back, guess what today is. It is the day that world changes forever. You will stay here and do nothing at all to stop it.”

Jack walked out of the room. Jason got up and ran after him and once outside the laboratory ward he saw the destruction that happened in the time he was up in Heaven. He saw everything was wiped clean off the face of the earth. He could not believe that this could have happened to the world when he was gone for a short amount of time.

What Jason did not realize was that he was up in the sky for almost three months…The day was July 1st, 2666…Indeed the world had changed…To Be Continued

Chapter 4 | March 31, 2666

In the silent morning when the dew hits the grass and the wind blows softly, Jason remembers when everything was normal and not as crazy as it is today. He remembered back to a time of calmness, peace, and tranquility. He looked back behind him wondering if his family was still there. They were not there of course, but he was just hoping that they were there in the flesh.

He was sitting on the piece of ground that was owned by his father. He looked at the tree next to him. It was battered. It had most of its bark ripped off of it. The tree was the story of Jason’s life for the time being. He touched the tree. He felt the scares that the tree endured. He felt a morning raindrop run down the tree and over his hand. It was as if the tree cried for Jason.

He stood-up from the beautiful hillside. He walked away from the tree. He walked away from the calming breeze. Jason walked to his father’s house to find out where that book was that the monks told him about.

He walked up to the old wooden door. He knocked. It was not done intentionally. It was done in the rhythm of doing things when he would come to meet his father. He knew that no one would answer but he had the thought that someone would.

He backed away from the door. He looked down and the welcome mat and lifted the right side corner. He picked up the extra key his father made him so he could come into the house. He put the key into the key hole. He opened the door and entered into the house that built him into the man that he is today.

Once inside the [empty] house, Jason walked over to the fireplace. He looked at all the pictures of him and his brothers. He saw the photo album and touched it. He opened the book and saw every memory form the very beginning of his family’s existence. He then closed the photo album. Next, he proceeded to look at the photographs of his mother and father. He also saw his older brother’s mother’s picture, which was held by his father in the photograph.

He began to remember when they told him, Jacob, and John Jr. to stop sliding down the banister. They did not stop and one of them got hurt. They never did it again until the day they moved out of the house when his mother got a divorce from his father, but his mother still cared about his father very much because she did not want to split the boys from their father. She never fought over them for custody.

The faint memories of the past kept pouring into his mind. He was living his childhood all over again. Jason felt a tear beginning to slide down his face. Then, a steady stream of tears began to fall onto the floor like it was a waterfall. Jason felt like killing himself so everything would finally come to an end, but he remembered what he had to do to try and stop this war for good.

He walked over to his father’s old office. He touched the old oak door. Felt where they marked how tall they were. He looked at the last marking it read, “Jason is four feet tall. The day before his father was pronounced dead. He then proceeded to walk into the room.

There was nothing within the office. There was dust and cobwebs cover his father’s old oak desk, which Jason and his brother’s made for him, and the old Rembrandt style lamp, which was found within an old time capsule in the ground underneath their house. He then looked at the final thing on the desk, it was a picture of everyone together as a family and a tear ran down his face. Now, He was alone, the only one left form the picture still living.

Jason walked behind the beautifully crafted desk. He looked at where an old oil painting of New York once hung. It also incorporated the English pasture where the entire O’Connell Family got started. He pushed on the wall where the painting once was and the secret staircase was revealed. He walked down the steps to the room where all the answers were stored inside a tiny little book.

Jason walked over to the book. A faint tear fell. He opened the beautifully bound book, inside where all the accomplishments of his brothers and himself in each other their lifetimes separate and together, these accomplishments that where described within the book were of another future. Now that his brothers were dead, this future was all wrong, it would not have not have made any sense why everything was still the same in the book.

…Up inside the abandoned house there was someone waiting for Jason. This man was not someone to worry about, but he was someone that you had to distance yourself away from. The man walked down to where Jason was reading the book of his brother’s and his future. He walked all the way to the secret room. He looked at Jason and said, “You still have much to learn about this family. Everyone knows everything about each other.”

Jason recognized the voice and said, “Yeah, I thought I knew who you were to be, but I was wrong. Go to hell you fucking demon of the damned evil one named James.”

“I mean you no harm, Jason,” said the man.

“Why are you even here?” Jason asked.

“I am here to take you to the place where a council is building up a rebellion against you and the world. If you come with me you will know the truth about you and your family. I was once a lonely intern at the Omega Organization, but know I am one of the fucked up scotch drinking son of a bitch person that works for that company. I wish I would have listened to you, but now it is time for me, your only son to set things right,” the man told Jason.

“I still do wish you had listened to me. You grew up too fast my son. You are no longer a teenager. You are no longer my little boy anymore. When I saved you, I knew that you would do something like this to me, just like your damn mother did. She tried to kill me and you. She crashed the car and fled away from scene. She was working for the Omega Organization as an intern. Son, in an old future you were to kill me and I was to be enlightened, but now that is not to be, for I have changed the timeline. You were still a teenager. I do not know where everything went wrong.”

Jason looked at his son’s face. He walked out of the room with book in his hand up to the fireplace. His son, Jack, followed and said, “That future you speak of is no longer waiting for us. I know I have changed after everything we went through, but it is time to show you who really destroyed the timeline.”

Jason listened to his son and said, “I have to do one thing before we go…”

He walked over the hearth. He started a fire and threw the book into fire and saw if burn to ashes. Jason felt the sense of being alone once again. His eyes were all dry. He could not cry, even if he wanted to try. He looked at his son and said, “Let us get this over with once and for all…”

Jack took his father back to the Omega Organization’s headquarters. He took him to the bottom floor. He took him to the place beneath the most powerful and evil organization in the world. When they stepped out of the elevator, they were in Destination Hell, a place where the Omega Council’s meetings were held for over sixty years.

They walked down the many interconnecting catacombs of Destination Hell. Until, they had reached a huge door made up of millions of stones. Above the incredible archway, there was something written in golden letters. The writing on the door read, Enter with fear, Leave with hope.

This saying was from an old head of the council named, Jonas Archer O’Connell. This man was Jason’s dead great uncle and one of the founding members of the Omega Organization and Omega Council. He was killed before the Great Thirty Years War. He was struck down by his own brother. This war lasted from 2610 to 2640. The war helped the world become united under a single governing body.

Jason, Jonathan, and Jonah were all named after their dead great uncle by their father to keep his name alive, as well as, to keep his hopeful views of a better future alive. He was a great person and man. He and his brother founded the Omega Organization to help the world, but the actual betrayal in the wall of the organization came on the day of James’ wedding when Jonas was killed.

Jason and his son walked past the massive doorway and into the main chamber where the council was having a meeting. Inside, there were all the active members of the Omega Council and the governing body. Most of the members of the council were anything from scientists to photographers. The one person that was not anything at all was the head of the council itself, the man that destroyed Jason’s true destiny, James Leonardo O’Connell.

Jason’s eyes began to get wider and wider when he saw that his grandfather was still living and breathing and not dead after his shot him. He could not understand how an evil man like James could still be living and breathing. His mind began to race with rage and disgust. He looked at his and wanted him to finally be dead. He wanted to shot his brains out. He could not because he was about to say something to the council members.

Jason saw him stand up and say, “Welcome, back my brothers, to the council that will decide the route that Jason should go on for his journey. I have stolen the Book of Destinies from his father’s massive collection of future and current histories. I have destroyed my grandson’s destiny by killing all of his brothers. They will no longer be able to gain their timely abilities that were given to them. None of them will be able to destroy this organization. Jason is the only one left in this world. He will no longer be able to make his own destiny from coming true. He has not learned a thing from his past. He has much to learn about this family and its true destiny. We will once again conquer this world once again.” His grandfather stopped for a breath and continued, “Because of our brother, Jonas Archer O’Connell, we were put underground because of what he did to this world. We once controlled all of the Western Hemisphere. If it weren’t for him we would have controlled the whole world by now. This world would have been ours and everyone in it would have been our fucking damn slaves building our own monuments, our own cities, and our own armies for play. No thanks to that mother fucking damn son of a bitch man I once called my very brother, we would have succeeded in killing Jason and his next of kin. This world would have been different, but now we have to worry about my grandson, for he will soon do something that will forever change who controls the world, but he will not be able to do so because we have his son. Jason still does not know that his son is the key in putting the world back on to the timeline that it once was on.”

Jason looked at his son and could not believe what he just heard. He understood everything. He looked at his grandfather and somehow his grandfather looked back at him. He said in his mind, “You will pay for this one day. That day is today.” Jason pulled out his revolver pistol and fired a single bullet into the head of his grandfather, once again, not knowing that he would return from the brink of death though the use of this his double-gangers.

As the bullet penetrated the brain of James, another bullet was fired and entered Jason’s brain and destroyed the inter-workings of his central cortex. Jason fell into a deep sleep and found himself in a place where no man wanted to be in before dying…Heaven.

Jason looked up into the eyes of a great being. A great and mighty voice said, “Jason, your time has come to an end. I am sorry for what your life was to be is simply not to be. I shall no longer keep secrets from you, my son…” To Be Continued

Chapter 3 | January 31, 2666

A few weeks after his brother’s disappearance, Jason went to his library on the big island of Hawaii and the only island to survive the explosion. He went to the once active volcano and down into the shaft to the door of the library. He entered to see that everything was still intact. He went over to the computer and entered the number 510208. It opened up a file called, 0101 Unknown. He clicked the icon on the computer monitor and the document showed everything that was going on in the Omega Organization’s headquarters. Including a secret building that was not listed on any of Jason’s own records of the organization.

This building was right next to one of Jason’s own facilities in the Bronx. He walked out of his library, jumped down into the rest of the old magma shaft. He jumped all the way down to the small opening at the bottom. He opened the door and jumped into the Long Shot. This device was used by Jason to get to reach any of his labs in the world in quickest way possible. He typed in the coordinates of the Bronx laboratory in New York City.

It only took about twenty seconds to get there. He walked over to Lab 01-2. He opened up the lab’s doors to found the entire place abandoned, but there was blood everywhere. His mind stumbled on another memory.

Within the memory…He saw hoards of people breaking everything that was in sight. He saw one man taking one of the technicians into another room and pointed a thirty two millimeter Glock at the person’s head. The man asked, “Where is Jason James O’Connell?”

The tech answered, “I do not know sir. He has not been here in weeks.”

“Shows you what kind of boss he is,” the man began, “It shows you he is week. He is secretive and does not care about anyone in his corporation. The angel’s of death will kill him and this world will be rid of the most evil person in the world…”

…The memory faded. Jason was severally disturbed at the man’s assumptions of himself. His eyes began to water. The tears ran even more when he saw what was in the next room. Within the room were the technicians. They were all dead. There was a massive quantity of blood all around the room.

Jason looked into his heart and prayed for the first time since he was a little child in church. He prayed for the souls that were lost and that these innocent people’s attackers would find justice. He did not know who did it, but he had a hunch, that hunch would prove to be wrong.

In the back room, there was his brother, Jacob. He opened the door and saw that there was no life in him at all. His brother’s body was cold and lifeless; there was no light inside. His brother was dead. Then, more tears ran down Jason’s face because he knew that he was, now, the only O’Connell Brother alive in the world. Jason looked around the room to find that nothing was as it was.

He walked out of the back room of the lab. He walked pass the bodies of his fellow scientists and did not look back. He was still taking it all in. He could not believe that this happened because of him not accepting the offer in the first place.

After gathering his thoughts, he walked over to the building across the street. He walked into something that would rattle any one person’s mind. Inside, were bodies of some man and they were all the same. They were in some kind of stage of slumber. He walked over to one of the containers. He examined it and saw that it was cracked open. There was no body within it. He turned around and saw the omega symbol stamped on the wall. He walked out of the building and did not want to return.

Within the building were the genetic bodies of his grandfather waiting to be used. Each body was genetically alike. Each body was marked differently by a three digit code. Each of them was a double-ganger for his grandfather’s soul to attach itself to, if he were ever shot or killed. His soul never went to the one place where it was meant to go, Hell.

Jason did not know that he walked into a place that no one man had seen before, except for the one person that helped create the bodies. As Jason walked out of the building, someone was alive once again. He was standing. He was watching his grandson walk away.

His grandfather’s new body was up and ready to kill every person that was in its way. The body began to feel the things that were in the room. He began to understand where he was. His mind began to sink into the body itself. Then, the body began to feel the presence of James’ soul. After the soul of James was felt by the body, the old soul that was pure was destroyed and James’ was the victor.

James looked around the warehouse of his double-gangers to see that all of the double-gangers were still intact. As he walked around the facility in his newly acquired body, James saw that there were still twenty-three bodies left in warehouse. He looked at his entire collection of bodies to use. He knew each was perfect to his own liking. He looked at his grandson, Jason, and smiled. He said in his head, “You still have much to learn about our family. You still do not understand that we will never die. We are the higher beings on this planet and we shall one day rule it once again.”

As Jason left the building, he saw something. He saw the truth about it all. He looked into his mind to try and decode that message that his brother, John, told him. He looked at the saying that his brother told him. He remembered, “You have what you need. Use it to unlock the truth within the light in the brightness right across from the righteous young philosopher.”

He knew before that he had to go to a library, but he did not know which one to go to. There we two still in the world, his and another. He did not want to go to the other one. The other library housed some kind of secret. This secret was too big for any one man to comprehend. Only a few entered the library and only one came back out. That one person was Jason’s father, John Sr.

So, he decided to go to the other library. He walked to the edge of the piece of the earth he was on and jumped off into the water. He swam to the other side of the world. He jumped out of the water and onto the piece of earth where the library was located.

He walked up a long and winding path and found the library in an old monk monastery. He walked up the steps and opened the doors. A voice called out and asked, “Who comes here to The Library of The Unknowns?”

“It is I, Jason James O’Connell, the son of John James O’Connell. I am here to find out something about my brother, Jacob James O’Connell and my other two brothers.”

“Okay, Jason James O’Connell, you may enter, but answer this, “How is life a book?”” the voice asked.

Jason answered, “Life is like a book because it has a beginning, middle, and ending.”

“You may enter.” A monk’s voice told Jason.

He entered and he looked around. He saw every single history that was in the world. He also got to see all the futures that were in the world.

Jason walked to his family’s section and found that there were three books missing from the shelf. They were not to be found within the library. Jason walked over to one of the monks and asked, “Where are the histories of my brothers Jacob, Jonah, and John Junior?”

“They are not three separate books but one. Those empty spots on the shelf are for the story you are going to write. You and your brothers are special. You are the only four people in the world that are one person. All of you are now one person once again.”

Jason stepped back and could not believe what happened. He looked down and saw something. He saw his brothers. They were with him. They were in his mind. He closed his eyes and looked into his mind where he could think. Within his mind were his brother Jacob, Jonah, and John Jr. They looked at him and said, “We have a mission to complete. It is time to take down the one organization that is evil in the world.”

Jason opened his eyes and saw that all the monks were gone and he saw a man walking into the room. This man looked familiar. It was his father, John Senior, he was walking toward him and he said, “Jason, if you are here I want to tell you one thing…”

“What?” Jason asked.

“…There is a room within my house. This room leads to a secret underground. There you will find the book in which you and your brother’s are in. Also, you will find a cauldron where the water is held.”

Jason’s father walked out of the library. Then, all the monks reappeared. They looked at Jason and said, “You are one of the luckiest persons on the planet. You get to experience something that we all want to experience. You can experience the past in the present. The theory of Time Hick-ups is true. The theory that you’ve been working on is actually true.”

“What Time Hick-up Theory?” Jason asked.

“The theory that you developed in the year 2667,” The monk told Jason.

“What year is it?” Jason asked.

“It is the year 2666. Why?” They asked Jason

“Nothing,” He said to them. He walked away from them and smiled and knew that they were to be trusted. He did not look back for something huge was about to be revealed to him in the coming weeks…To Be Continued

Chapter 2 | January 2, 2666

The following day Jason set off to find his twin brother, Jacob. His brother was taken somewhere where no one in the O’Connell Family would know where he was. There was a single piece of paper in the lab that read: If you want to know where your brother is go to the Omega Organization.

Jason went to the organization that, in a single instant, destroyed his career and future legacy. He walked up to the building, opened the massive glass doors, he walked in, and went to the security desk. He asked, “Who called me here today? Why in the fucking world am I here of all places?”

The security officer answered, “Hello, Jason, your cousin, Leo, wants to talk to you about something. Go to the right elevator, go up to the twenty-third floor, he is in his office at the end of the hallway, and he is waiting for you.”

Jason went to over the right elevator, got in, and went up to the floor that his cousin was on. He stepped out into the hallway, walked to his cousin’s office, he opened the door, and he heard, “Jason does not know what he is about to give us. He does not understand what he is about to do will forever change him.”

He stormed into the room in a blaze of fire and asked, “What important thing am I about to give to you? Also, how will it forever change me?”

“You will be giving the Omega Organization your undying allegiance to destroy this world that you created. We will begin the war once again to turn this world back into the wasteland it once was. You will be forever marked as the man that destroyed the world,” his cousin replied to him.

“I do not think so, brother. You will die! You will see what you have done to this world. You will see that your actions are more powerful than the words you speak. You will no longer be a part of this family. You will be forever dead in my mind,” Jason started, “Where is my brother?”

“He is nowhere to be found by you or me. He is no longer with us. I know that you now know what our true future was to be. We were to run our father’s Brotherhood and destroy all the powerful entities in the world,” Jason paused for a brief second and continued, “I never wanted to be a part of that society because power is the only thing that makes our family different. We have all the power in the world. We will over through the government that runs it and make it into our image. We will be kings once again.”

“Well, brother, Jonah James O’Connell, I beg to differ. This entire world is our family. We are not the only powerful family in the world. We are a part of the original three families that walked this planet. I guess you do not remember what our father taught us about this world because our fucking damn asshole of a grandfather brain washed you into what he believed in. Do not you see what this man has done to you? He has turned you into a fucking damn moron. You follow his damn orders and see what nothing but hurt you bring to the world,” Jason asked.

Jason stormed out of the room, he never looked back, the pain was too much to handle. He went to the elevator and remembered something from the memory of his father’s death. He went up to the very top floor that no one knew about. He entered into his father’s old office. He saw the dust of the past caked to everything. The memories came flooding in. A tear ran down his face. It fell to the ground slowly.

As it hit the ground, a small but powerful memory came in. What he saw was himself and his father walking in the old garden at their house in the Hamptons. He and his father were talking about something, but he could only pick-up the last sentence. “Son, my boy, you are not alone in the world. Remember that…”

Where he was he was all alone. He could not feel the presence of anyone from his past or present. His brother was missing, he could not find his best friend, and he was still on the run from the world itself. He saw everything was different then on the day that he and his father talked.

Once inside the room, Jason walked over to his father’s desk. He saw all of the photos still in their frames like it was yesterday that his father was there sitting and trying to destroy this evil organization. He looked everywhere in the room and found the hidden button his father told him about. He pushed the button underneath the globe of the old world. It opened up the secret door behind his father’s bookcase.

Jason walked over to the bookcase, pushed it out of the way, and opened the door. Inside, there was a secret that was kept from him and the world. It was a place that was a well of truth, a place that his father took him when he was a child.

Jason knew all about the room because his father told him once about a place that was a secret even to the Omega Organization. This place was where a whole new world was started. It was also where someone was hidden from the world. Inside, this place was an un-aging girl with the power to turn time forward or backward.

He walked into the secret room, the bookcase closed behind him in. Then, neon lights turned on. He pushed a button, the room began to grow bigger and bigger. He walked to the middle of the room to see that there were four chairs, in the middle a cauldron filled with weird colored water.

A man walked out into the room and said, “Hello, son, I have been waiting for your return.”

“Dad, it is great to see you again. I am glad that we get to meet for the very first time in a long time,” Jason told his father.

“I am really pleased that you remembered everything that I told you when you were a child. For your brother’s on the other hand, they did not listen. You listened to my every word. They did not…”

“…Wait one damn minute,” Jason interrupted, “They did not trust you because they did not know you like I did. I knew all about your secret organization. They did not. They knew the surface you. They did not know the underground you, which at one time, was caked with mystery.”

“I hate when you do that. You pull the one line from that book I read you. The Covert Operative,” His father began, “I read you that book for twelve months straight. That book did not make any sense whatsoever. It did not have a storyline at all. It was very disgustingly graphic for a little kid. It made you who you are today, a traitor.”

“I loved that novel; it was one that made me do what I do now. I am still understood. I have saved everyone in the world and they do not even know what I did,” Jason started, “I was an operative for my company and everything that it stands for is all because of me. I am not the traitor. You are you betrayed your family for not revealing that you were alive to anyone including your own brother.”

Jason looked across the room to the opposite corner. He did not want to talk to his father anymore. He did not want to be there but there was something about the room that was familiar. He looked around the room. He saw that it was the room where he was baptized. He looked at the cauldron. He saw that is was different. It was bubbling and it was all different colors. He looked at his father and shouted, “Why the hell do you have the soup that began all life in a place like this? Why was I baptized in its water?”

“Son, that water is the only thing that I wanted this organization to protect, but now my father, your grandfather with his Omega Council wanted to destroy the world. So, I hid the water behind my old desk in the room that was not even there. About the baptized part, you were given a gift to look into the minds of the people of the world. I brought here to make you young again so the three years deducted from your life would go away,” his father answered his questions.

He looked away and began to think about everything. He looked at his father and asked one final question, “Where is Jacob?”

“He is no longer with us,” his father smiled

“Fuck you, grandfather. I knew it was you all along. You smile too fucking much. You do not even know what that fucking book is all about. This cauldron is filled with all the time that has been spent and that will be spent in the world. This room belongs to me. This is the room where my brothers and I were to rebuild the world. Also, you killed Vivian Victoria O’Connell, my niece. You know something, you are a fucking asshole, this world is cruel and when you uncover the greatest evil you no longer look at the world in the same light again.”

“You are as good as your father. Your father is really dead. He is no longer with us,” his grandfather told him.

Jason walked out of the room and put a bullet right in his grandfather’s head. He looked behind him and the cauldron was gone. He looked beyond the room, he saw his niece’s body, and went over to it. He looked closely at her face. It looked similar to his brother John’s. He looked at her and a memory of hers came to life before his very eyes…

…In the memory, he saw his brother holding Vivian and cuddling her. He told her something and it was, “As long as I am alive, you are my everlasting angel. I will not let go of you. I will always protect you from anything.”

He also saw a number 510208 on the computer he was working on. The final thing he saw was his brother kissing her good night and looking straight at Jason and saying, “You have what you need. Use it to unlock the truth within the light in the brightness right across the righteous young philosopher.”

Jason nodded and knew where to go with the information that was given to him to save his brother, Jacob, from the Omega Organization. The memory faded and he looked at the floor and figured out the coded message and he ran for the window and jumped out…To Be Continued…
